SBI PO 2023: Registration starts for 2,000 vacant posts; notification out

Today, September 6, 2023, the State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification that it will initiate the registration process for Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment 2023 from tomorrow, September 7, for a total of 2,000 vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till September 27 by visiting the official website- sbi.co.in. SBI aims to carry out this recruitment process in three phases.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any field or an equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
- Those in the final year of their graduation can apply provisionally, provided they complete their graduation by or before December 31.
- Candidates with qualifications in fields like medicine, engineering, chartered accountancy, and cost accountancy are also eligible to apply for the SBI PO examination.
According to the SBI PO notification, SBI PO preliminary exams 2023 will be carried out in November. SBI will issue the admit card in the second week of October.
Here are the details regarding the SBI PO application fee:
- For General, EWS, and OBC candidates, the application fee will be Rs 750.
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates will be exempt from paying the registration fee.
- It's important to note that once the application fee is paid, it will not be refunded for any reason, nor can it be reserved for any other examination or selection.
