SBI to Hire 1,000 Retired Bank Employees; How to Apply

State Bank of India is hiring retired bank staff for more than 1,000 posts on a contract basis. The online registration process is open and will close on 30th April 2023. Applicants can register online via https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers. The minimum age to apply is 60, and the maximum is 63.



The selection procedure depends on shortlisting and interviews. A committee formed by the SBI will determine the shortlisting parameters and call an adequate number of candidates for the interview session. The interview will carry 100 marks. The bank will set the qualifying marks in the interview. A merit list for conclusive selection will be ready, subject to the nominee scoring minimum qualifying marks. If more than one applicant scores common cut-off marks, candidates ranking in merit will be in descending order of their age.



SBI will not pay TA/DA to the candidates in the Interview procedure. The merit list will be marked in circle and category-wise, and the candidates will be posted in the circle- for which they are registering in the event of their selection and will not be permitted to inter-circle transfer.



Posts



According to SBI, the bank will employ 821 Channel Manager Facilitators, 38 Support Officers, and 172 Channel Manager Supervisors. Ex-personnel with work experience in ATM procedures will be given priority. The retired worker should have a Smart Mobile Phone and the skill, aptitude, and quality for monitoring via Computer, Mobile App, Laptop, or as per need.



Pay



The remuneration will be around Rs 36,000 to Rs 41,000 per month.



Job Responsibilities



The KRA of Channel Manager Facilitator- Anytime Channels (CMF-AC) comprise responsibilities for overall ambiance, including cleanliness of ATM or ADWM-lobbies and e-Corners and functioning of the ATMs along with ADWMs/SWAYAMs/GCC/CDKs/any other AC products.



The KRA for Channel Manager Supervisor- Anytime Channels (CMS-AC) will ensure maximum availability and uptime of ATMs / ADWMs / SWAYAMs / GCC / CDKs according to the bank’s policies.



The Support Officer Anytime Channels (SO-AC) will contain monitoring of all AC products-ATMs / ADWMs / SWAYAMs / CDKs / GCC, etc.
