SSC- The Staff Selection Commission recently released a notification in which the Commission is asking for applications for the (SSC CHSL exam 2022)- Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2022. Interested and eligible students can check and register at the official SSC website- ssc.nic.in

The Staff Selection Commission will hold these exams for recruiting Group C posts- Lower divisional clerk or Junior secretariat assistant and data entry operators for diverse ministries and departments. There are approximately 4500 vacant posts.
Deadline:
- The last day to register for the SSC CHSL exam 2022 is January 4, 2023.
- The final date & time for online payment is 11 pm on January 5, 2023, while making payments through challan is during the banking hours of January 6, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be between the age of 18 to 27 years. According to the guidelines issued by the government- there is age relaxation for diverse categories, which is mentioned in the official notice.
- The portal for making corrections or changes in the application will open from January 9 to January 10, 2023.
- The computer-based exam for tier 1 will be conducted in February or March, and the dates for the tier 2 exam will be declared later.
- In order to apply for the job/exam, the candidate should be either a resident/citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or an individual of Indian origin who has resettled from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Zaire, Ethiopia, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), East African countries of Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, and Vietnam who plan to settle in India permanently.
- If a person is not a citizen of India, they must carry a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Pay scale/Stipend
The pay scale is separate for each position and is mentioned in the notification on the official website- ssc.nic.in. For LDC or JSA, it will be pay level 2. For DEO, it will be Levels 4 & 5, and for DEO Grade A, it will be level 4.
