TN Budget 2022: School Education Dept Receives Highest Allocation Of Rs. 36,895 Cr

Under the Tamil Nadu Budget 2022, the state School Education Department has been allotted the highest fund of Rs 36,895.89 crore. For the third consecutive year, the highest budget allotment has been granted to the SE Department. Last year, the allottment was Rs 34,181 crore.



Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan also informed that all govt schools will be modernised in the next 05 years with the required infra. Around 18,000 new classrooms and smart classrooms equipped with essential technologies will be developed. For this purpose, the allocation of Rs 7,000 crore has been approved for the next 05 years.
