UNSW Sydney has signed a historic memorandum of understanding with the NSW Government to boost innovation & research, attract investment and strengthen the association between the sector and state.

The high-level 05-year partnership is a first for both NSW and Australia. A total of 11 NSW universities have signed the agreement with the State Government.

The partnership contains a channel of over 100 current and potential strategic opportunities to support innovation across wide regions such as artificial intelligence, big data, cyber security, clean energy, clinical innovation, advanced manufacturing, regional development, among others.
