The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced a notification regarding the hiring of 3,831 different positions. These positions include clerks, junior assistants (JA), and assistant level 3. The official website for UPSSSC, which is upsssc.gov.in, has detailed information.



The online registration process for the UPSSSC clerk and JA positions will be open from September 12 until October 3, 2023. Applicants who fall under categories like unreserved (UR), scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and other backward caste (OBC) will need to pay an online application fee of Rs 25.



Individuals with a valid score in the UPSSSC preliminary eligibility test (PET) from 2022 will be eligible to participate in the main examination for these positions. The merit list will be created based on the UPSSSC PET 2022 score, and the shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test. The age limit for candidates participating in the exam is 18 to 40 years.



The commission has allocated 1,889 positions for candidates belonging to the general category. There are 770 positions for SC candidates, 83 for ST candidates, 763 for OBC candidates, and 326 for economically weaker section (EWS) candidates.



On October 10, 2023, the commission will open a correction window, allowing candidates to edit their details.



As stated by an official communication from the commission, "Candidates who have received negative or zero scores in the UPSSSC PET exam 2022 will not be eligible for the main examination." The UPSSSC PET exam 2022 was conducted in two shifts on October 15 and 16. This exam is organized to fill UPSSSC Group B and Group C level vacancies.
