The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has announced the WBJEE 2021 exam registration starting date i.e. Feb 23, 2021, through an information bulletin released on its official website.

Once the application process starts, the eligible candidates who are interested in applying for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2021 can visit the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. The last date to register for the WBJEE 2021 exam is March 23, 2021, till 05 pm.

The OMR-based WBJEE 2021 will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board on July 11, 2021, and in two shifts i.e. the Morning shift (from 11 am to 01 pm) and the Afternoon shift (from 02 to 04 pm). The Mathematics exam will be conducted in the morning shift whereas the physics and chemistry exam will be conducted in the afternoon shift.

The details regarding the educational criteria is mentioned below:

  • Engineering Course: The candidates who wish to apply for the exam must have qualified Class 12 with Mathematics and Physics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Application/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsary subjects having individual passing marks in all the three subjects. The aggregate percentage of all three subjects must be 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category) and the passing marks in Class 12 English subject must be 30%.

  • Pharmacy Course: The candidates who wish to apply for the exam must have qualified Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry along with any one of Mathematics/ Biology as compulsary subjects having individual passing marks in all the three subjects. The aggregate percentage of all three subjects must be 45% marks and the passing marks in Class 12 English subject must be 30%.
