The Country Manager of the World Bank for Croatia Mr. Jehan Arulpragasam has signed a loan agreement with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance H.E. Zdravko Maric. The agreement has been signed of EUR25 million for Croatia: Towards Sustainable, Equitable and Efficient Education Project (SEE Education).



Through the project, the design and introduction of the WDS (Whole Day School) system will be supported in selected primary schools. The aim of the project is to improve the outcome of student learning, especially among disadvantaged students, through improved teacher training, increased instructional hours and school infrastructure.
