Cambridge English: First (FCE) Syllabus:

- Reading and use of English:

  • Part 1-Cloze Test Multiple Choice

  • Part 2-Sentences with multiple choice gaps

  • Part 3-Word Formation

  • Part 4-Word Transformation

  • Part 5-Sentences with MCQ questions

  • Part 6-Passage with missing sentences

  • Part 7-Multiple Matching

- Writing:

  • Part 1-Essay writing

  • Part 2-An Article, Essay, Letter, Report or Review writing

- Listening:

  • Part 1-There are 8 recordings to listen with each having one question.

  • Part 2-Multiple matching

  • Part 3 -There are gapped sentences to complete after listening the content.

  • Part 4-A recording for longer time having MCQ.

- Speaking:

  • Speaking exam is done between two aspirants and two examiners examine them out of which only one participate in the conversation.

  • 1st part is short question-answer between an aspirant and an examiner.

  • 2nd part is Visual looking session and discussing it with each aspirant.

  • 3rd part is a two way conversation between the candidates.

  • 4th part is a discussion between the candidates regarding the conversation (Part 3).

  • Candidates are judged as per their pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary and appropriateness of the language.
