Test d’Evaluation de Francais (TEF) Selection Procedure:
There are various types of TEF exams, namely 1) TEF for studies (To study in France), 2) TEF for Naturalization, i.e., TEF ANF ( To get the French citizenship), 3) TEF for the resident Card (to receive a resident pass in France) 4) TEF Canada (To Immigrate to Canada and to receive the Canadian citizenship, and 5) TEFAQ (To immigrate to Quebec province in Canada). The TEF and TEFaQ results are valid for two years from the date you took the test.

1. Tef for Studies in France
The TEF for studies in France is compulsory for any international student applying for the first year of a degree course at a university in France. The TEF for studies in France includes 4 tests: Written expression, Reading comprehension, Oral comprehension, and Glossary and structure.

Ques 1. How much does the test cost?
Ans. Rates may vary from one center to another and depending on the number of events.
Ques 2. Can I cancel my registration?
Ans. In case of cancellation before the day of the test or absence on the day of the test for major reasons (illness, professional impediment, death of a parent ), you must submit to the center a proof (medical certificate, certificate of the employe). Business French then studies the reasons for absence and possibly proposes a new registration in the center at no additional cost.In the case of unjustified absence or abandonment, you will not be reimbursed. Ans. In case of fraud, falsification or disruption of the smooth running of the test session noted by the prescriber, the approved center of handover or the CCI Paris Ile-de-France, sanctions are taken by the disciplinary commission of the CCI Paris Ile-de-France.
For the candidate, the sanction may consist, depending on the type of fraud or falsification, of a cancellation of the test or possibly of the certificate issued, and / or a ban on taking the test for a period fixed by the commission. The decision of the Disciplinary Commission is communicated to the fraudulent applicant, the awarding center and the prescriber.
