B.Sc Biochemistry

B.Sc Biochemistry is an undergraduate course. The duration of the course is 3 years which contains 6 semesters. This course can be persued after 12th standard.

Moreover, it includes the study of Bio-organic Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Human Physiology, Microbiology and Virology, Basic Immunology, Enzymology, etc.

This course is a combination of two interrelated subjects of biology and chemistry which have both the theoretical and practical aspects. Successful graduates of this course have a wide variety of job opportunities lined up in the relevant field.

The salary of the candidate depends on the experience and knowledge gained by a graduate in the relevant field.The average salary in India for a graduate of B.Sc Biochemistry is INR 4.5 Lakhs yearly.
