The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has initiated the registration process for recruiting candidates for various Group A and B positions.

Eligible candidates keen on these roles can complete the GSSSB Recruitment 2024 application on the official website- gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. Candidates must noted that the registration window for GSSSB clerk positions in 2024 will remain open until January 31, 2023.

Number of Vacancies

Through this recruitment drive, the Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board aims to fill 4,304 vacancies in diverse disciplines such as Clerk, Office Assistant, Office Superintendent, Stamp Inspector, and Assistant Tribal Development Officer, among others.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates are required to hold a graduation degree from a recognized university. Additionally, proficiency in either Gujarati or Hindi, or both languages, is a mandatory requirement for applicants. Candidates should fall within the age bracket of 20 to 35 years as of January 31, 2024, to be eligible for these positions.

Selection Process and Pattern

The selection process commences with a preliminary examination for all cadres in Group A and Group B conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The test comprises 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be answered within a duration of 60 minutes. Each correct response carries 1 mark, while an incorrect answer incurs a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Disabled candidates are allotted an additional 20 minutes. However, the marks scored in the preliminary test won't be considered for the final selection. Successful candidates from the preliminary exam will proceed to the main examination stage.
