The Indian Institute of Technology Shillong (IIM Shillong) has opened applications for the position of Joint General Manager (Finance), extending an invitation to qualified individuals. The salary for this position will be at Level-13, commencing with a Basic Pay of Rs. 1,23,100.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a Fellow or Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.


• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a Group-A post in Pay Level-11 or 10 years in Pay Level 12 in Government/Public Sector undertakings or an equivalent industry.


• Proficient in government Financial Accounting, Taxation, Audit rules, and procedures.


• Age should not exceed 55 years as of the last date of the advertisement's publication.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Finance and Accounts Office at the institute.


• Manage accounts, disbursements, investments, and statutory auditing.


• Prepare budget estimates and ensure compliance with tax and other statutory requirements.


• Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the institute.
