B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology is a 3-year graduate course. The eligibility criteria is that one has to pass 10 + 2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in any board throughout the country. The pupil should have also secured a minimum of 50% in the 10+2 examinations to be eligible for the course. The fee for the course varies between Rs. 5000 and Rs. 1.5 Lacs in India. The course is a basic course in the field of Geology. Some of the specializations that the course offers are Economic Geology, Hydrogeology, Geomorphology, Geological Engineering, Mineralogy, Petrology, Planetology, Remote Sensing, Sedimentology and Structural Geology. The desired aspirant can also pursue the Masters (M.Sc.) in Geology.
