B.VOC. in Food Processing and Preservation is a three year Degree course. Candidates can learn about Fruit & vegetable processing, Milk & dairy products and Agro products processing in the I, II & III year respectively. The eligibility condition for admission to B.Voc. programme shall be 10+2 in Science and Home Science stream.



The food-processing sector has huge growth and a socio-economic impact. Moreover, it creates innumerable jobs for the rural poor and hence mitigates the burden on the agricultural sector. It also helps in the reduction of wastage, value addition, foreign exchange earnings and enhancing manufacturing competitiveness.
