The Delhi government has unveiled plans to orchestrate a transformative event—an expansive Rozgar Mela, or employment fair. To provide abundant career opportunities, Labour and Employment Minister Raaj Kumar Anand convened a meeting with the esteemed vice-chancellor of the Labour Department and the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).

The objective is to guide and counsel young minds, unveiling their latent potential and aptitude within various fields. Experts will extend their wisdom, enlightening the youth about diverse career pathways at the Rozgar Mela. The meeting witnessed the sharing of success stories, with over 2,000 youths benefiting from the existing three employment centres in Delhi.

Emphasizing the importance of inclusivity, Minister Anand expressed a desire to provide special attention to individuals with disabilities. He proposed the organization of a separate job fair exclusively dedicated to differently-abled individuals. His instructions resonated with the officials, who were urged to take decisive steps.

To maximize participation, Minister Anand suggested the establishment of registration and counselling camps across every assembly constituency in Delhi. By engaging the maximum number of young minds, the government aims to create a dynamic and inclusive platform for exploring diverse employment opportunities. Additionally, small-scale employment fairs will be organized by the Delhi government, ensuring that no opportunity goes untapped.

To ensure the seamless execution of the job fair, Minister Anand directed the appointment of an external agency, entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring a well-organized and impactful event. With these initiatives, the Delhi government sets its sights on a brighter future, fostering a thriving ecosystem where the aspirations of the youth are nurtured and their potential fully realized.
