The Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam is inviting online applications for Teacher posts. The drive is being conducted to recruit 9354 Teachers in Lower Primary and Upper Primary schools.

The eligible candidates who are interested can apply through the official website at dee.assam.gov.in.

The online application process will continue from Sept 27 till Oct 27, 2021, for the Assam TET qualified candidates and till Dec 31, 2021, for the candidates who qualify for the Assam TET in October month 2021.

The vacancy details are mentioned below:

Assistant Teacher of Lower Primary	7,242 vacancies
Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, Assamese Language Teachers, and Manipuri Language Teachers of Upper Primary	2,112 vacancies

Age Limit: The minimum age to apply for the posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit is mentioned below:

Unreserved Category	40 years
Ex-Servicemen	42 years
OBC/ MOBC	43 years
SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)	45 years
PwD	50 years
