About General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
GNM or General Nursing and Midwifery is a 3 and half years duration course which is also known as GNM Nursing. This course is suitable for those who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery. It is divided into 3 years of education and 6 months of crucial internship. Moreover, students get to do internships in Nursing Homes, Hospitals and even Private Medical Firms and Companies. This is suitable for those who are interested in helping sick people and help doctors in various hospitals.
GNM nursing diploma aims to educate the students as nurses and help them to develop in a hospital environment and can provide first aid, blood pressure monitoring, etc. along with having skills to function effectively in a team.
