ISRO & MSDE Collaborates for Technical Training at National Skill Training Institutes

MSDE- The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the ISRO Technical Training Programme in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Trivandrum has joined hands to increase the capacity and develop the skills of their employees. The programme was inaugurated at the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Bengaluru.



This newly introduced programme aims to establish a formal framework for short-term courses to deliver training to ISRO technical employees, to improve their capacity and develop their skills according to the latest trends and needs in the country’s space industry.



Under this programme, up to 4000 ISRO technical staff will acquire training in the programme at several NSTIs located across India.



The training will start at National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) Bengaluru with the programme ‘Industrial Hydraulic and Controls’ on hydraulics. This course covers various topics such as fluid power systems, pressure-controlled valves, flow-control valves, hydraulic system components, hydraulic symbols, the difference between hydraulics and pneumatics and basic hydraulic laws, the concept of pressure regulation, hydraulic accumulators, and practical demonstrations.



NST Mumbai will commence the programme with the course Industrial Automation and NSTI Trivandrum with Software Development. The course duration is five days, with 20 trainees in each NSTI will obtain training.
