Addressing the Rozgar Mela after distributing 75,000 appointment letters among government job aspirants, Prime Minister said the Centre is also working on several fronts to develop maximum job opportunities for the youth.
Mr. Modi stated that it is a fact that the global situation is not very good. Several economies are struggling. In many countries, problems such as unemployment and high inflation are at their peak. He said the side effects of the once-in-a-century pandemic would not fade away in 100 days.
He added that despite this crisis faced the world over, the influence of which is being felt everywhere, India is taking brand new initiatives and risks to save our country from being affected by these hardships. He further informed that they are working to soften this impact on our country. It is a difficult job, but with your blessings, we have been shielded till now.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent appointment letters to 75,000 job aspirants electronically.
The recruits- chosen from across the country, will join 38 ministeries or departments of the Government of India (GoI). They will join the government at multiple levels in Group A and B (gazetted), Group B (non-gazetted), and Group C.
According to a statement by the government, the posts on which appointments are being created contain those of the central armed forces personnel, sub-inspectors, LDCs, PAs, income tax inspectors, constables, MTS, and stenographers.
Under the recruitment drive, fifty union ministers will handle appointment letters to around 20,000 people at diverse locations across the country.
The government said these recruitments are being done by the ministries and departments by themselves or via recruiting agencies such as the SSC, Railway recruitment board, and UPSC. The selection procedures for expeditious recruitment have been simplified and made enabled.
In June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked many government departments and ministries to recruit 10 lakh people on a mission mode in the next year and a half.
