According to a survey, around 700 agents surveyed in May 2022 agreed that international student interest in studying in Australia hopped back, especially since Australia's borders re-opened in Mid-December 2021. Navita's rolling Agent Perception Survey also revealed that students now believe Australia to be virtually as welcoming and safe as UK and Canada. Australia is a country that is already known for the quality of its programs, educators, and post-graduation work rights.

Almost one-third of surveyed agents agreed that student interest had expanded in the past two months compared to other countries or destinations and more than half of the agents chose the option of strongly agreed. As per the reports, this is a tremendous transformation from the presumption in October 2021, when only 28% consented that Australia was acquiring ground against competitors. Navitas stated that Australia has considerably closed the gap with Canada and the UK on this operation.

Students from Southeast Asia and the South are particularly interested in pursuing studies in Australia. 90% of agents in those areas stated that student interested in Australia has gathered up in the past two months. General Manager, Navitas, Neil Fitzroy, Global Recruitment UPA, spotlights some of the causes that Australian educators are now self-assured to draw the attention of more international students.

Australia's mid-year intake has witnessed substantial numbers of International students who travel to Australia to start or resume their studies. The majority of international students visit Australia to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate courses. The energy and enthusiasm athwart the country portend well for further recovery, and the recent agent research demonstrates this change in belief. 95% of the adult population is vaccinated, COVID safe protocols are still the same, and enormous advancements made in flexible delivery across the sector. Thus, Australia is observably well positioned to win back market share.

May 2022 repetition of the company's agent survey indicates that the Australian International education sector is recovering and is well poised to win back market share. Mr. Fitzroy warns that there is some way to go before it can truthfully be said to be in full-fledged recovery. He expressed that no doubt these are green shoots for the country, but there is a long road ahead before they can put the last 24 months behind, and also parents, students, agents, and sponsors are expecting to glimpse their plans come to completion. There is a prudent belief amongst the people and those who wish to travel there that Australia is back in Business.
