Australian Deakin University Extends 2023 VC Scholarship Programme, 10 additional scholarships for Indian students

Deakin University, Australia, has recently expanded its Vice-Chancellor’s Meritorious Scholarship Programme 2023. This scholarship programme aims to help high-achieving and meritorious Indian students in their goal of becoming global citizens who can positively influence their communities back in India.



The programme delivers 100% fee waivers to recipients for their studies at a Deakin Campus in Victoria, Australia, and is expanded to include ten scholarships, each valued at more than Rs 6 million. Candidates for the July 2023 session are now open.

The scholarship programme seeks to create a profound influence on the lives of deserving students in India.



The programme will support exceptional learners who have exhibited academic excellence and well-rounded accomplishments and aims to empower them in order to study onshore at Deakin University in Australia.



Also, the programme has a philanthropic perspective, to give back to India while helping to acquire the skills and knowledge required to make a genuine impact on society and the potential to change the revolution of the lives of worthy students, allowing them to recognize their academic and personal potential while contributing to the development of society.



The students, while on-campus, are placed into the Vice Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Programme (VCPEP), which gives them the unprecedented opportunity to express themselves and the university in prestigious venues alongside senior officials from the government, academia, and corporate.



The Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship programme was launched first in 2014, and so far, 39 deserving scholars have been granted 100 percent scholarships for their studies at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Excellent students desiring to seek high-quality international education across emerging study areas like psychology, sports, engineering, etc., have moved forward to pursue a successful career in their chosen fields.
