The British Council has introduced the Postgraduate Scholarships for Indians across various streams to study for the 2022-23 academic year. The council has announced 20 GREAT scholarships in collaboration with the GREAT Britain Campaign of the UK Government and in partnership with UK universities.

The scholarships have been announced for Indian students across 16 UK universities in various subjects such as Finance, Business, Humanities, Entrepreneurship, Psychology, Design, HR, Marketing, and Music.

In addition to this, the Council has also announced 07 GREAT Scholarships for Justice and Law, for Indian students who wish to apply for programmes in subjects including Criminal Justice, Human Rights, and Commercial Law in the UK.

The Council will provide each scholarship worth a minimum of £10,000 to cover the tuition fees for a 01-year postgraduate programme.

Moreover, the Council has also introduced 6 fully-funded scholarships for Indian English teachers to study at any 02 of the UK universities for PG of English Language Teaching. The English teachers who are working in/ with the primary/ secondary government schools in India are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
