CBSE Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2022 Registration Started; Application Details

CBSE- The Central Board of Secondary has begun the registration process for Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2022. The CBSE holds the AGC challenge for students of Class 8 to 10 to focus on the extent to which children can apply mathematics to their daily life. The official website- cbseacademic.nic.in and cbse.nic.in is hosting the registration process for the AGC challenge. The schools affiliated with the CBSE can apply for AGC till November 15 (5:30 pm).



AGC challenge has no fees for the first stage. The AGC has two levels- level 1 and level 2. Level 1 of the challenge will be carried out at the school level in pen-paper mode. Level 2 will be carried out at the national level by CBSe in a computer-based test mode (CBT). The students from classes 8 to 10 in schools affiliated with CBSE can appear at the school-level competition. While only the top three students from each affiliated school enlisted in the first stage will qualify for the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2022 level 2 competition.



The duration of the CBSE AGC 2022 will be one hour at both levels. The question paper will have objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total weightage will be 40 marks without any negative marking. The question paper with the answer key will be available to the registered schools between November 16-21, 2022. The registered schools will perform the test using the question paper to recognize the top three students.



Level 2 of the exam will be conducted on December 15. Schools can enlist the name of the top three students by delivering an online fee of Rs 900 between November 28 and December 10, 2022. After completing the second-level computer test, the top 100 students from each CBSE region will obtain a Merit certificate.



In an official notice, CBSE said all schools should motivate their students to participate in Aryabhata Ganit Challenge and take the opportunity to identify and nurture the Mathematical skills and potential of students. Participation and performance in the AGC challenge may also be acknowledged in the portfolio of the students.
