There are 1,009 participants from leading colleges and universities across the nation vying for recognition in this contest. This remarkable event is being held in partnership with Startup India and Northeastern University, Boston, representing the spirit of global collaboration and inspiration.

This event holds significance as participants will be locked in competition within four distinct categories: food and health, STEM-related toys (pertaining to science, technology, engineering, and maths), sustainable fashion, and frugal innovation.

The GITAM folks will help the winners and runners-up learn even more. The first-place team will win Rs 2,00,000 in cash and get to go on a two-week trip to Boston. The second-place team won't be left out – they'll get Rs 10,000 and also get to visit Boston with two team members.

There are some special awards too. If someone's idea helps the community a lot, they can win Rs 50,000 and go to Boston for two weeks. If a woman leads the best idea, she gets Rs 50,000 and a trip to Boston for two weeks. And the participants winning Leben Johnson People's Choice award will win Rs 50,000.

So, getting to the finals was a bit of a journey. First, experts watched short videos and presentations from the participants. They picked the best 100 for the next round. Those participants got special training and coaching online, and 32 teams were chosen for the semi-finals.
