The University of Arizona is committed to helping students assess the various costs associated with their education, including tuition, fees, books, living expenses, and mandatory health insurance. The University of Arizona presents an enticing opportunity for incoming freshmen and transfer students through the Global Wildcat Award scholarship program.

These scholarships present a chance for students to receive awards ranging from $5,500 to $22,000 per academic year. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply for these scholarships via the official University of Arizona website at everywhere.arizona.edu. To qualify for the Global Wildcat First-Year Award, students must submit their admission application by the specified deadline.

Students who don't meet the standard minimum renewal criteria but fulfill specified requirements will be granted an automatic grace period for the following academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

Merit-Based Scholarships: A limited number of merit-based scholarships will be granted to international students on the basis of their application for admission, highlighting exceptional academic records and test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE Academic).

Non-Negotiable Offers: It's important to note that the scholarship offers are non-negotiable and will not be adjusted to match offers from other institutions. These offers remain consistent with the initial offer for continuing students, regardless of any GPA improvements at the University of Arizona.

Arizona Residency: If a student achieves Arizona residency status, the scholarship will be recalibrated to cover a proportionate amount of resident tuition, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Award Combinations: This award cannot be combined with other tuition awards, including National Merit Finalist, National Scholar, Transfer Tuition Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, certain ROTC Tuition Awards, the Arizona-Sonoran Tuition Award, sponsored students, and some departmental tuition awards, based on their type and amount. These awards are exclusively intended for undergraduate studies.

Conditional Admission: Conditionally admitted students who enroll in the CESL U-Track Pathway and successfully complete one semester in the program, followed by full-time enrollment at the University of Arizona in the subsequent semester, will qualify for the scholarship they were eligible for.
