IIT Delhi has achieved a remarkable distinction as a "GATI Achiever" recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. This acknowledgment comes in light of their exceptional efforts in promoting gender equality within the domains of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions (GATI) programme.

As part of the GATI initiative, IIT Delhi diligently conducted a thorough self-assessment, which enabled them to formulate comprehensive action plans. These plans are aimed at bridging the gender gap and addressing the challenges that women encounter in STEM fields.

Through its dedicated commitment to promoting inclusivity and gender equality, IIT Delhi has earned well-deserved recognition as a "GATI Achiever" institution, making significant strides in advancing opportunities for women in the STEM disciplines.
