To celebrate the third anniversary of the National Educational Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), a special programme called "Hands-on AI for real-world applications (HAAI)" was launched by AI for Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (AI4ICPS), a national AI Hub created by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.

With the guidance of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, this program aims to teach AI skills to 100,000 individuals, including young people and professionals, to support the country's development. The newly introduced programme combines both theoretical knowledge and practical learning experiences.
