To celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Indian Navy has expanded its well-established Inter School Quiz competitions into a national event- known as The Indian Navy Quiz (THINQ). In honor of India's presidency of the esteemed G20, this event has evolved into an international competition called 'G20 THINQ.'
G20 THINQ is organized by the Navy under the auspices of the G20 Secretariat in collaboration with NWWA (Navy Welfare and Wellness Association).
The National Round of the G20 THINQ anticipates enthusiastic participation from students in Classes 9 to 12, representing over 11,700 schools across the country, following two online elimination rounds. The top 16 teams will compete in the national semi-finals scheduled for November 17, 2023, at the NCPA auditorium in Mumbai, culminating in the National final round against the backdrop of the iconic Gateway of India. Participants will also get a golden opportunity to immerse themselves in India's rich heritage and culture.
The international final round is slated to take place on November 22, 2023, in New Delhi. The International Round of the G20 THINQ will bring together brilliant young minds from across the globe, providing a unique opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship among G20 partners.
To streamline the registration process for schools and disseminate all relevant information about the G20 THINQ, a dedicated website, www.theindiannavyquiz.in, has been made available for all.
As India schedules to hand over the G20 presidency to Brazil on December 1, 2023, G20 THINQ celebrates the completion of a series of significant events carried out since December 22, serving as a fitting tribute to this momentous occasion.
