Ministry of Education Inaugurated the 1st Nursery for Children with Disabilities
The new nursery's concept is based on leadership in delivering early intervention and comprehensive services in order to accomplish complete psychological, physical, social, and academic development for children with disabilities and provide the highest standards of care and high-quality education for them.

On 25 October 2022, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education recently inaugurated the first nursery for children with disabilities in the state of Qatar- Abu Hamour area.



The new nursery's concept is based on leadership in delivering early intervention and comprehensive services in order to accomplish complete psychological, physical, social, and academic development for children with disabilities and provide the highest standards of care and high-quality education for them.



The new nursery for children with disabilities was inaugurated by the Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at the Ministry of education and Higher Education, Omar Al Naama provides two programmes for care and education in both Arabic and English.



The programmes aim at promoting Islamic values, principles of the Arabic language, and Qatari culture, as well as other features, activities, and programmes that make it a model for nurseries- specialised in serving children with disabilities. The new nursery initiative by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education would help children with disabilities to learn and receive a high-quality education, which would support them to excel in the future.
