This initiative guarantees that O.P. Jindal Global University students benefit from significant, globally recognized global education prospects. JGU has signed new agreements with the following the University of Birmingham, University of Sussex, University of Essex, University of Liverpool, University of Edinburgh, and the University of Nottingham.
Students from JGU will benefit from these programmes in diverse ways, including study abroad courses, student exchanges, and double degree offers at these exceptional universities. Students have the flexibility to choose from semester-length programmes to long-term study abroad options from the available opportunities developed via these partnerships. The new partnerships will also improve faculty research and bring universalisation to pedagogy.
Founding Vice Chancellor, O.P. Jindal Global University, Professor (Dr.) C. The new partnerships will allow students of Law, Commerce, Liberal Studies, Economics, Management, and Business Administration, to benefit from these creative and innovative programmes and achieve a global outlook to enhance their knowledge and learning aspirations.
Dean, Office of International Affairs & Global Initiatives, JGU, Professor (Dr.) Mohan Kumar, the Dean, said that the historical relations between India and the UK are best mirrored in education. Students and scholars from (JGU) O.P. Jindal Global University have attended some of the best British universities. This resulted in incredibly stronger ties between the two nations. The current collaborations with British universities and institutions will further improve our dedication toward our students to create more prospects in higher education and research.
The new collaborations aim to create student mobility opportunities at leading institutions across the UK as there is a splendid demand in India to follow higher education there. Students will experience the UK education system, enabling them to create a more global perspective. Additionally, we will explore many other elements of the partnership, like faculty mobility and joint research, in the forthcoming months.
The UK is one of the desired destinations for the students, which propels commitment to engage with prominent British institutions. These new partnerships are in addition to the existing 360+ collaborations, creating diverse opportunities for intercultural learning through internationalisation.
