The Saudi Government, under the renewed proposal for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Programme, aims to send 70k students abroad. Under the program, the govt aims to send 70,000 students to 200 approved foreign universities/ institutions by 2030.



The shortlisted students will be rolled into one of 04 paths under the new scheme:





  • The Pioneers Path: It is designed to send students to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in all streams at the top 30 education institutions worldwide.




  • The Providers Path: It is designed to send students into Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Training programmes keeping in mind the certain labour market requirements.




  • The Research & Development Path: This path is aimed at producing scientists and is designed for PhD-level students.




  • The Promising Path: It is meant to divert students into particular streams such as Manufacturing Tourism in UG, PG, and Training programmes located in such countries as Japan, South Korea, and Germany.





Both female and male students are eligible to register for the scholarship programme.



The students who go to non-English-speaking destinations will be provided support for English-language training needed for their degree courses and the students going to destinations like the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia will not receive any such support for language studies.
