The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced to organize a 'CBSE Science Challenge' for the students of Class 08 to Class 10.
The aim of the initiative is to generate curiosity, higher-order thinking, and enquiry amongst the students which will help them in understanding science and technology as vital factors for the world.
The CBSE Science Challenge will be available from Jan 17 to Feb 28, 2022, on the DIKSHA platform. The Challenge can be taken up by all the students across boards and will be available in both Hindi and English.
Fee: There is no participation fee.
The CBSE- affiliated schools can register their students through the official website at cbse.gov.in. After completing the registration process, the students will be provided registration IDs that will be needed to access the challenge on the platform. The interested students of schools not affiliated with CBSE can directly access the challenge on the platform.
All students, after completing the challenge, will be granted a participation certificate. Then, the schools can nominate 05 participation certificates securing students from each class in the Science Challenge directly for the 2nd stage or national qualifiers of the Raman Young Science Innovator Awards.
The Board has also advised the students who wish to apply for the challenge to download the DIKSHA application's latest version or access the DIKSHA official website to receive certificates.
