According to the discussion at the Spanish-German meeting, the cooperation between the two countries would intensify bilateral connections based on the assessment of the necessity of higher education as an essential aspect of development. It intends to develop collaboration in higher education via exchanging information between the authorities, their corresponding higher education authorities, and the organisation of visits and the exchange of stays for officials.
The agreement also offers the evolution of mechanisms for each Ministry to report on programs, research calls, and regulatory updates to the academic community from the other nation.
The collaboration involves specific strategies and work plans between Spain and Germany and other approaches, such as consulting foreign academic communities on how to improve academic conditions and reduce bureaucracy in the disciplines of cooperation, enhancement of academic internationalisation, and resolving problems in collaborative educational programmes of Spanish and German institutions.
As students are an asset to their countries, the initiative will undoubtedly be advantageous to both countries as it focuses on improving higher education ties which will benefit both nations and students equally.
