As the academic year begins, Syracuse Abroad is keen to continue supporting intercultural experiences for students both abroad and on campus. With over 500 students studying abroad this fall in nearly 20 locations, Syracuse Abroad is willing to help students plan their study abroad experience for spring 2023 and beyond.

This year, Syracuse Abroad Week will take place September 12-16. Students, partners, and faculty are invited to participate in various in-person and virtual events to learn about study abroad opportunities and program offerings. Throughout the week, Syracuse Abroad staff will host virtual information sessions discussing program options, internship opportunities, financing study abroad, and more.

Syracuse Abroad is taking over Shaw Quad on September 14. Students, campus partners, and faculty are welcome to visit the Syracuse Abroad tent on the Quad from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday in order to learn about opportunities for international study and explore more than 100 programs in 60 different countries. In the event of rain, the event will be carried out in Goldstein Auditorium.

Upon arriving at Syracuse Abroad on the Quad, students will acquire a passport to travel throughout the tent. Students will communicate with Syracuse Abroad Center program advisors, World Partner representatives, campus partners, and Global Ambassadors to learn more about program offerings. Each passport page will direct students to someone who can answer a question, deliver understanding about the study abroad procedure, or talk about their own experiences abroad. Completed passports that contain stamps from each table can be dropped off at check-in tables for an opportunity to win exclusive Syracuse Abroad swag items.

At Syracuse Abroad on the Quad, learn more about
