Interested students or professionals are eligible to study a PG Business and Management (Business Analytics) course with the University of Essex online. It is a Postgraduate Certificate course that can be studied or pursued online. The last date to apply for the course is 1 September 2022.

The University of Essex claimed in its press release that in order to excel in business, there is a need to understand the opportunities available through the ethical and effective use of data. This is a demanding yet rewarding field, and the Postgraduate Certificate course gives an understanding of the essential methods a manager can use to examine data and make informed decisions. You will also achieve strong business knowledge, beneficial in roles across finance, customer services, business development, data analysis, and marketing. The skills developed will also help you enhance as a manager.

This business course is an online course. Both students and working professionals can apply for the eight-month course as it is a part-time course with an indicative study. On completion of the course, students will be rewarded a certificate by the University of Essex’s Business School. The University of Essex is a world-renowned institution ranked in the UK’s top 30 universities (Complete University Guide 2022). The content of the course will be delivered through lecture casts, which offer a co-occurring and accessible way to interact with multimedia content via interactive and engaging activities.

Those with an undergraduate degree from an approved institution, equivalent to a UK Honours degree, or a suitable professional qualification can register for the course. Further, for the work experience entry route, applicants must have at least five years of management-level work experience.

The University also informed the students that their English proficiency should be equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5. For those without an IELTS or equivalent qualification, the University will ask them to pass their online English proficiency test.
