The Waipapa Taumata Rau University of Auckland has introduced several scholarship packages worth around NZ$1.5 million for Indian students. Interested Indian students can apply for any of the scholarships through the official website of university at auckland.ac.nz.

The University has informed that more than 200 scholarships have been introduced for high-achieving Indian students in 2023 for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The University will award these scholarships biannually as 115 will be provided twice a year. In each cycle, five scholarships will be awarded up to $20,000, ten up to $10,000, and hundred up to $5,000.

The registration process will continue from Oct 10 till Nov 21, 2022, and from March 09 till April 20, 2023.

Eligibility: To apply for the scholarship, an applicant must possess a valid passport issued by the Govt of India. He/ She must also be an Indian citizen.

The initiative has been launched to attract new international students of high potential from India for admission in the Undergraduate or Postgraduate programmes of one or more years at the Waipapa Taumata Rau University of Auckland.
