Today, Zoom Abroad Education Academy- a UK-based EdTech company, introduced the launch of its 2+1 programme in India. This initiative is a credit transfer programme for international students to get direct admission to the final year of Undergraduate courses in UK Universities by acquiring the required qualifications and credit through Zoom Abroad’s blended courses.
The company has designed this programme to make international education more affordable, reasonable, accessible, and an uncomplicated go-to solution for every student.
The programme proposes a UK degree qualification at 40 percent of the price of a traditional 3-year degree at a UK university. In addition, Zoom Abroad Education Academy will also deliver a personalised counsellor, course guidance, mentorship, profile building, and help with documentation, finance, and visa. The programme also offers two weeks of internships in Dubai & Singapore at no extra cost to the student.
Former UK Higher Education Minister and UK Vice Chancellor, Mr. Bill Rammell, inaugurated the programme and said that the Zoom Abroad Academy is driven by a sincere desire to broaden access for Indian students to UK Universities, making it more affordable and possible for those students presently excluded by cost and distance.
He added that our 2+1 programme opens the door to various opportunities and career development for many more Indian students, allowing them to access UK Higher Education at 40 percent of the traditional cost. Our 2+1 programme can be accessed on a combined basis directly in collaboration with one of our Indian College or University counterparts. Opening entry to UK Universities for more Indian students is good for the student and Indian Society and its economy.
Students who will be a part of this programme can avail the same advantages as students studying in the UK, including a post-study work visa for two years.
