The Central Board of Secondary Education will commence the registration process for private candidates for the Class 12 Board Exams 2022 soon. The Board will commence the registration process from Dec 02.

The Board exams of the private candidates will be conducted along with the regular students' Term-2 board exams.

The Board has classified private candidates into 09 categories. The CBSE has also notified that the examination for these categories of students will be held according to the syllabus of Term 2 only.

The candidates who passed in 2021 and wish to improve their marks in one or more subjects can also apply for the exams.

To sit in the board exam 2022, The candidates who will attempt the Board Exam 2022 will be provided a different roll number. The CBSE said, "In no case the candidates will be allowed to appear with the previous year’s roll number".

The registration for the board exams will continue till Dec 20. The candidates can register with a late fee of Rs. 2000 till Dec 30.
