CBSE Revaluation Process for Class 10, 12 Starts Today

The revaluation procedure by the Central Board of Education (CBSE) has started today. Many students not satisfied with their result scores can apply for revaluation on the CBSE official website- cbse.gov.in. According to the guidelines issued by CBSE, candidates who have applied and obtained a photocopy of the answer book will only be eligible for rechecking.





The last date to apply for revaluation is July 28 till 11:59, and Rs 500 will be charged for each subject. Later, candidates will be allotted time from August 8 till 11:59 pm on August 9 to apply for obtaining a photocopy of answer sheets, and the charge per answer sheet is Rs 500. After, students will have time from August 13 till 11:59 pm on August 14 to apply for rechecking, and per question will be charged Rs 100.





How to apply for CBSE revaluation of Class 10, 12



Step 1: Open your browser and visit the CBSE official website- cbse.gov.in



Step 2: After reaching the homepage, click on the CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Revaluation link



Step 3: Now, select your classes, and enter your details such as roll number, center number, and school number.



Step 4: After entering all the details, click on proceed.



Step 5: Select the subject for revaluation and pay the fee to complete the process.





Before the actual revaluation, students have to apply for verification of marks. CBSE will check the answer sheets again to find if there is any totaling error and then report back to students with a modified or the same result. Students are free to stop if they do not see any difference or do not wish to proceed with the revaluation process. Others who wish to proceed can decide whether they want to obtain the photocopies of their answer sheets or not. After processing the photocopy request, the CBSE will send the photocopy of the requested answer sheets in an online version to the candidates. Therefore, Candidates can go through the answer sheet and apply for revaluation of specific questions. The Board will start the recheck process and get back to the students with an updated result.
