The Calcutta University authorized panels have suggested that the examinations should be conducted in offline mode instead of online mode for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Calcutta University will be discussing with the affiliated colleges before making any conclusion.

A meeting with the principals of affiliated colleges will be held on 27 May so that they can tell their opinions on the mode of examinations. Vice-Chancellor Sonali Chakrabarty Banerjee said that all these opinions will be placed before the alliance on 3rd June for final Consideration.

Some students of Rabindra Bharati University arranged a protest, saying that "No offline classes had taken place in the past two years. There were only online mode sessions due to which our syllabus could not be completed. If the administrations force us to write offline papers, how can we get good marks in our exams?
