The Delhi University announced that the admissions under ECA (Extra-Curricular) category shall be done on the basis of the certificates whereas the merit-based admissions will be held till 31 August.

Earlier the varsity decided not to hold the ECA category admissions but last week they changed the decision and allowed 12 categories including Dance, Music, Yoga, Divinity, etc.

The authorities also declared that the last date for admission through the entrance to all courses such as UG, PG, M.Phil, P.hD is 31 July but the merit holding students can apply until 31 August.

The students who wish to apply under ECA category can do so from 01 August to 31 August. The students who have already applied but wish to apply again under ECA can also re-apply but an additional fee of Rs. 100 will be charged. One student can apply for a maximum of three ECA categories.

The sum of the total marks of the three best certificates submitted by the student will be calculated while preparing for merit list and the forensic test of the submitted certificates will also be done.
