The United Kingdom's Edinburgh University has been invited by the CN Ashwath Narayan, the Karnataka Minister of Higher Education for the beginning of the campus in Bangalore. The Minister of Karnataka held a meeting with the top officials of the University during the tour to the 450-year-old university which is located in Scotland.

The top officials of Edinburgh University accepted the proposal and in a statement, he said that Mr. Narayan invited them to be a part of their silver jubilee celebration of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS-22) organized for November.

The Minister held a meeting concerned with collaboration in higher education apart from debating on the introduction of 'Twinning Courses'. The Minister headed on a tour of the Bayes Center, which is a distinctive representation of a multi-disciplinary education center at the Edinburgh University, and also noticed the robotic lab, data science, and Al centers housed there.
