The final semester exams for Calcutta University will be conducted in Online mode from 01 October to 18 October. The announcement was made by Sonali Chakraborty, Vice-Chancellor. The West Bengal Government had also directed the universities to conduct the exam at the starting of the October month and the result must be declared by the end of the month.

The results for the exam will be declared on 31 October and students studying in UG and PG programs can take the exams during the period.

The Vice-Chancellor also notified that the question papers will be sent through WhatsApp or Email to the students who couldn't appear for online exams due to some reasons and the hard copy of the answer must be submitted after 24 hours to their respective institute. She also notified the students that the process of evaluation following ratio of 80:20 for previous semester performance and internal assessment will not be valid anymore.
