The candidates who are desirous to apply for the test can visit the official website of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. The GATE exam is conducted by the IIT, Bombay, and is scheduled to be held from Feb 05, 2021, to Feb 07, 2021, and from Feb 12, 2021, to Feb 14, 2021.

The desirous candidates can apply by visiting the official website of GATE at gate.iitb.ac.in with a late fee. The application process is online only.

Earlier, the last date to apply for the GATE exam was October 08, 2020, but the date has again been extended with an additional fee charge of Rs. 500. The registered candidates will be notified on October 21 after scrutiny.

On October 28, the online correction window will be opened for the candidates to make changes in the city/ category/ exam paper section and the last date of the correction window will be Nov. 13, 2020. The change in the city section will be free of cost whereas any changes made in the category and paper section will cost Rs. 500.

As per the official notification, while registering, the candidates must provide full name as per the valid photo ID, email address and mobile number. The email id and phone number must be valid as all the communication will be done through these means.
