The National Service Scheme (NSS) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D), has introduced its in-house mobile app, aptly named 'NSS IIT Delhi, to enhance volunteer engagement and social impact.

The innovative app offers IIT Delhi students aspiring to become NSS volunteers a user-friendly platform to register, discover nearby projects, track their volunteer hours, and connect with fellow volunteers. Designed for simplicity and accessibility, the app aims to resonate with the younger generation, making volunteering a seamless and engaging experience.

One noteworthy feature of the app is its ability to streamline the tracking of blood donation requests and scribe requests. Students can directly view posted requests, along with location details and routes, all integrated within the app.

Since its recent launch, the app has witnessed a remarkable response, with thousands of registrations pouring in. Boasting a 4.9-star rating on Google Play and a perfect 5-star rating on the App Store, the NSS IIT Delhi app signifies a positive step towards fostering a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among students.
