On February 9, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) initiated the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG). Interested and eligible candidates can access the application form, information bulletin, and revised syllabus on the newly launched website- neet.ntaonline.in.

This year, the number of exam cities has been expanded to 554 across India. However, it's important to note that NEET UG 2024 will not be conducted outside India, as per the decision of the National Medical Commission.

As per the schedule, NEET UG 2024 is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024, from 2 pm to 5:20 pm, with results expected on June 14, 2024.

NEET UG Eligibility Criteria:

• Students in Class 12 with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or Biotechnology along with English, even as an additional subject, can register for the exam.


• Last year, in November, the NMC allowed Class 12 students without biology as a core subject to pursue medical studies in India and abroad.

NEET UG Syllabus:

• The syllabus encompasses Physics, Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology, with minor changes made by NTA post-Covid to align with revisions in the NCERT syllabus.


• Candidates can find the revised syllabus on the official website, offering choices in Section B for each subject.
