The Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar has introduced winter admissions to its postgraduate programmes for international students. The admission process has been commenced in Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science.

The institute has taken the decision to provide an opportunity for international students who are seeking admission during the 2nd semester. The 02nd sem of winter pg programmes starts on Jan 04, 2022.

The institute is providing an additional chance for international students seeking admission in the 02nd semester.

The application has been commenced and the last date to apply is Dec 10, 2021. Interested international students can apply online to degree-granting postgraduate courses under various disciplines through the PG international admissions portal at iitgn.ac.in.

The Institute is offering PhD and MTech degrees under various disciplines such as in Biological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Earth System Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Engineering; PhD and MSc degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Cognitive Science; MA in Society and Culture; and PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Institute is also offering several financial aids and scholarships for international students, including fully paid PhD fellowships, tuition awards, tuition fee waivers, international student fellowships, and travel awards. Special scholarships for students from South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries are also available.
