The Government schools of Jharkhand state are being reopened from September 21 for students studying in Class 09 to Class 12. The schools are being reopened for the students who wish to consult their teachers for queries and the decision to reopen has been taken by the State Education and Literacy Department.

As per the news, the students who wish to attend schools will have to obtain signed written consent from their guardians or parents to do so.

A draft proposal has been prepared by the Jharkhand Education Project Council regarding the same subject to be approved by the Secondary Education Wing which will further be shipped for approval to the State Disaster Management.

As per the proposal, only 20 students will be allowed to sit in a class keeping in mind the social distancing and only 50% of teachers will be allowed.
