Karnataka govt advises Christ University against holding exams for intermediate semester

The administration of Karnataka reckon that all the universities are not to be allowed to hold examinations for intermediate semesters. On July 10, as per the University Grant Commission's guidelines, the executive of the state allowed all state public and private universities to conduct exams for final year learners during the month of September in online mode.



Inspite of, scholars of intermediate semesters will be shifted to higher semester which will be based on their good grading system. And students must get 50% marks in the last semester.



A few days earlier, the regime of Karnataka states that the learners who are doing degree and post graduation courses such as Engineering and Diploma courses for the year 2019 - 2020 will be promoted witHøut examinations.
